The boarding procedure for Southwest Airlines is distinct and uses an open seating arrangement. At check-in, passengers are given a position number (1–60) and a boarding group (A, B, or C) that dictates the sequence in which they board, rather than assigned seats. A is the first group to be called, followed by B and C. Enterprise In Group A, A-List members and select travelers usually have priority boarding. Passengers are free to select any seat once they are on board. Between Groups A and B, passengers who require special help and families with small children are permitted to board. Getting to the gate early helps you get a better place in line. During boarding, this system encourages adaptability and efficiency. Visit: Southwest Airlines Boarding Process
