One combination inhaler for treating asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is called Foracort 200. It has two active ingredients: formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that helps relax the muscles surrounding the airways to facilitate breathing, and budesonide, a corticosteroid that lowers inflammation in the airways. Wheezing, dyspnoea, and tightness in the chest are among the symptoms that are managed with Foracort 200, a maintenance medication. Asthma attacks are not intended to be immediately relieved by it.
