Flying United Airlines London Luton Airport is an unusual experience since United does not actually fly from Luton to anywhere, but most passengers will use Luton as a cost-cutting measure on European segments before rejoining United from Heathrow. Luton Airport itself is clean, well-organized, and simpler to get around than London's large airports. The drawback is the transfer from Luton to Heathrow, which is about two hours by tube and train or by coach.
