Women empowerment has been a central focus of policy development in India for decades. With increasing awareness about gender equality and the need to uplift women socially, economically, and politically, the Indian government has launched numerous initiatives over the years. These government schemes for women are designed to address various challenges such as education, health, financial independence, safety, and employment.
